You won’t believe it, but finally we can talk about springtime. Sitting lakeside in the evening, shorts and t-shirt and a beer, what else? Maybe a fitting piece of music, fluffy and lightly? Well, we can help you out! And you can trust us, it’s a recommendation you better take into account: exactly in a week today, the nowadays six-headed Kiriyama Family will release their second record “Waiting for…” and we’ve been lucky to take a glimpse at the album beforehand to tell you about its greatness
With his new, on September 16th via Morr Music releasing fourth album called “Spaceland”, Sindri Már Sigfússon strikes with his solo project Sin Fang a new path. On his previous indie and folk orientated three records, electronic elements played if anything then just a very minor part in his music. The opposite on his new […]
It was a tough time of waiting. After all, anticipation was aroused already quite some time ago with a wonderful EP. But now it’s finally the day and Unnar Gísli Sigurmundsson, who’s more familiar to most of us as Júníus Meyvant, recently pleased us with the release of his first full length album: Floating Harmonies. If […]
A long time of waiting is finally over. Just a few minutes ago, one of our Iceland favourites, the promising Indie rock band CeaseTone released their full length debut! And we were incredibly lucky to be able to listen to it already a few days before it was sent out into the world now.
Since the invention of Psychedelic Rock, the three guys of The Vintage Caravan – Óskar, Alex and Stefán – are touring around, or at least you might think so. Though just at the beginning of their twentysomethings, the band is already facing an almost 10 years (!) history.
If you cast a glance at our events calendar of February, there’s one name that undoubtly dominates the schedule: Svavar Knútur. During his European tour to promote his latest album “Brot” (which you could translate as “breaking”) which he released last year, he will perform in 14 cities all around Germany. So it’s on the […]
One man, one guitar, and a microphone. Less is not possible, but also nothing more than this is necessary. On a rainy Sunday, great Icelandic Singer-Songwriter Júníus Meyvant plays a gig in Ampere in Munich. In the beginning he announces to play 620 songs. Half of them are not written by him but from Angela […]
When I saw that Sóley would come to E-Werk, Erlangen, I knew I have to be there. The memories of her overwhelming performance at KEX hostel during Airwaves 15 still were young. Back then, she played solo and I can’t remember a full to bursting KEX being that quiet during a set, entirely entranced from […]
Well, to be exactly, that’s a review about two concerts. Because Agent Fresco was already on stage at Ampere, Munich, the day before on December7th. And as it’s only about one hour drive from Munich to Nuremburg, what could be more obvious than to enjoy this phantastic band on two consecutive days?
Wednesday night. Halfway through the week. Time to power up for the second half – and there’s no better way to do this but a Vintage Caravan concert! Currently, the band is touring Europe as support for Swedish doom metal formation Avatarium.
